We support the Games Technology Network (GTN)! The network is funded by the futurefund in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), Germany. The network is established by both academic and industrial partners and and encourages research and development in games technology in NRW.
Computer games are popular and have a growth market with great potential. In recent years, North Rhine-Westphalia has developed into an important games location within Germany and is now setting itself the goal of establishing a network in the field of game technology.
The GTN creates the conditions for greatly accelerating the transfer from basic research to industry and society. It maps a holistic value chain that extends from the bundling of expert knowledge to the transfer into concrete applications (e.g. demonstrators / applications).
The goals of the GTN:
- Networking in teaching and training
- Networking with the games industry
- Development of Games Technology Demonstrators
- Establishment of a collaborative innovation cluster - Games Technology Center
